Positioning the mother city as the Events Capital of Africa
Over 500 million viewers watch this Mega Event worldwide! It would return to our shores annually! Not only would this event grow positive awareness of our country as a tourist destination but re-introduce motorsport to our African continent and at the same time create a sustainable legacy linked to hosting mega sports events.
Our street circuit makes economic sense, we would continue to make use of the 2010 World Cup facilities, such as: Fan Walks, Transportation, Media Centres and most of all, our beautiful Cape Town Stadium on an annual basis!
Core to our strategy is ensuring we able to make this experience accessible to the many motoring fans in our country. This we intend realizing by partnering with local businesses through negotiation for subsidized seating affording local sport enthusiasts the opportunity to experience the hair raising moments of Formula 1 street racing up close and personal.
Our proposed circuit location is situated within the Greenpoint Sport Precinct fondly known as “the African Riviera”
